Volunteers’ Celebration Day

1st-7th June was Volunteers’ Week. Volunteers’ Week is a time to say thanks for the contribution millions of people make across the UK through volunteering. We decided to celebrate our INCREDIBLE volunteers and thank them for their huge support, particularly throughout Covid-19. Their great contribution helps us continue to support and serve our community. We had a small celebration on Friday 4th June and gave our volunteers medals and certificates- because they are all winners.
One of our volunteers said “I absolutely enjoy volunteering here and I do it because I want to. I have never done a job in my life that I truly love like this one; the atmosphere, the people… it’s just wonderful.”  Thank you again everybody.
